The Xuelong polar expedition ship is China's third generation polar icebreaker and scientific expedition ship. It is a Vitas Bering icebreaker built by herzon shipyard in Ukraine on March 25, 1993. China imported from Ukraine in 1993 and transformed it according to China's needs.
