The 3800mm medium and heavy plate project, which was launched in July 2023, has a total investment of approximately 2 billion RMB, with an annual output of 1.5 million tons. The raw materials come from the thick plate continuous casting machine and die-cast steel ingots provided by the Group's electric furnace factory. The 6,600-ton and 14,000-ton forging presses can produce special steel plates by combining forging, rolling and heat treatment, meeting the demands of high-end internal quality steel plates.

Relying on DC spectrometers and X-ray fluorescence analyzers, we have achieved second-level non-destructive testing of metal components, with element detection accuracy reaching the ppm level. This fully complies with strict international standards such as ASTM and EN, ensuring zero deviation in raw material composition. The carbon-sulfur analyzer precisely locks in trace carbon and sulfur impurities with a resolution of 0.001%, avoiding the risk of material embrittlement from the source and ensuring the stability of welding and toughness performance.

At the microscopic level, the dual-track parallel operation of metallographic microscopes and field emission scanning electron microscopes can clearly capture sub-micron-level structural features such as grain boundary morphology and inclusion distribution, providing visual data support for process optimization. In terms of mechanical properties, the tensile testing machine and the impact testing machine simulate extreme working conditions, accurately outputting key parameters such as tensile strength, elongation and impact energy, ensuring the reliability of the sheet under high-load environments. Supplemented by high-precision hardness testers, it comprehensively covers the surface and core mechanical properties of the material.

Through equipment collaboration and data closed-loop, we have achieved full-chain quality empowerment from component control, micro-regulation to performance verification, providing scientific endorsement for the high strength, high toughness and long service life of medium and heavy plates, and continuously leading the industry's quality benchmark.
