On April 8th, a symposium on the high-quality development of Marine sheet futures in 2025 was held in Changshu City, Jiangsu Province, hosted by the China Association of the National Shipbuilding Industry, the China Iron and Steel Association and the Shanghai Futures Exchange, and organized by Jiangsu Longteng Special Steel Group Co., LTD. The conference aims to further enhance the ability of shipbuilding enterprises to use futures tools to withstand significant fluctuations in raw material prices, exchange experiences of various enterprises and financial institutions in the actual operation of ship plate futures, study the difficulties and problems existing in the current practical operation process of ship plate futures, and explore new measures for the innovative development of industrial chain cooperation. Tan Naifen, deputy secretary-general of the China Shipbuilding Industry Association, presided over the meeting.
