The tube of solid welding wire is solid, and the tube of flux-cored welding wire has a flux core, which is used to stabilize the arc, improve the operating performance, and play a protective role. Compared with solid wire, flux-cored wire has less spatter, and continuous use will not block the torch nozzle. The performance of flux-cored wire is better than that of solid wire, and the deposition efficiency of flux-cored wire is slightly lower than that of solid wire, but the deposition rate is much faster than that of solid wire.
Flux-cored welding wire can be divided into four types according to the protection situation: gas protection (CO2, Ar-rich mixed gas) and self-protection, submerged arc and open arc.
According to the use of power supply, it can be divided into AC steep drop characteristic power supply and DC flat characteristic power supply.
According to the filling material, it can be divided into slag-forming flux-cored welding wire (titanium oxide type, titanium-calcium type, calcium fluoride type) and metal powder-cored flux-cored welding wire.
Specification:LT·ER50-4 welding wire has CO2 or Ar+CO2 5%-20% as shielding gas. It has excellent welding performance. It has good one-time shaping performance. When used in argon-rich mixed gases arc welding, the bead is delicate and beautiful.
Purpose:
1. Used for welding thin plates.
2. Used for welding steel pipes.
